CELTIC THUNDER X OUT MARCH 2

The 10th Anniversary Releases CELTIC THUNDER - 'X',  out March 2, 2018! The all new CELTIC THUNDER X Deluxe Double CD, Deluxe Double DVD packages, is to be released on March 2, 2018. The releases celebrate our 10th Anniversary, and the Celtic Thunder X tour of 75 cities across the US and Canada which will begin in the fall of 2018.

The brand new music and footage from CELTIC THUNDER X is also a highly anticipated television special, which will begin airing nationally in the US on March 1, 2018. This special was filmed in Dublin on October 30, 2017 at the Helix Theatre. The Celtic Thunder shows have aired over 22,500 times across 50 states on PBS. The group is among the top five audience-generating acts on the network.

 

 

 

ONE HUNDRED MILLION VIEWS FOR CELTIC THUNDER

WOW, we are thrilled.  The Celtic Thunder YouTube channel has surpassed the one hundred million views.  This is big news as it means our Celtic Thunder family is growing and growing.  We are thrilled and very excited about this big news! It only feels like yesterday since I was writing about Patrick’s Day 2017. I have to say this is a lovely time of the year in Ireland as we start to see a nice stretch in the evenings. We are very lucky here in Ireland with the 4 seasons, you really see changes every month and it’s great to see new life appearing in the garden and the Spring flowers popping their heads up. Yes, we get a lot of rain but sure isn’t that what makes the Ireland so green!

RECIPES ST. PATRICK WOULD BE PROUD OF!

To celebrate St. Patricks Day, we have found some lovely traditional and maybe not so traditional recipes for the month of green that’s coming up. We start with Oysters, which we know are an acquired taste but if you do like them, they are lovely with a creamy pint of stout. A traditional Dublin coddle and to finish it all off and add some fun, a St. Patrick’s Day jelly infused with alcohol.

The VIP events are very special for us, as it’s a great time to meet the fans up close and personal. VISIT BELFAST & CO. ANTRIM

We would totally recommend Belfast and Co Antrim if you come to Ireland. I know I say it every month but if you could all come to visit for 6 months, you could get the whole country covered so that’s what I’m really recommending but honestly, if you hire a car, you could get an awful lot in in over 3 weeks.

 

 

  

2 WONDERFUL PUBS WORTH CHECKING OUT

Mc Collam’s is a friendly pub in Mill Street Cushendall, Co Antrim and is where all the tourists make for in search of authentic Irish traditional music and singing. The Old Yard is an enjoyable area for a quiet chat with friends. The Bottling store in the background has a piano for a sing along. Here you may just meet Liz Weir, the local story teller, who spins many a good yarn.

 

 

 

IRISH JOKE - THREE BEERS FOR BROTHERS

An Irishman moves into a tiny hamlet in County Kerry, walks into the pub and promptly orders three beers.
